Your estimate meets reality — automatically.
PreconIntel is a real Procore integration, not a nightly CSV export. Projects, vendors, cost codes, commitments, change orders, drawings, estimates, and requisitions sync bidirectionally — so your estimating world and your project management world stop living in different spreadsheets.
Everything that syncs
One OAuth connection, then we handle the rest. Webhooks on the Procore side keep PreconIntel current in near real time.
Projects
Active, pending, and archived projects with metadata. Bid-stage projects in PreconIntel promote to Procore on award.
Vendors
Your Procore vendor directory lives next to your PreconIntel sub profiles. New subs created in either system propagate with configurable auto-import thresholds.
Cost codes
Procore cost codes map to CSI divisions and subdivisions so benchmarks built from one side are usable on the other.
Commitments & SOVs
Pull commitments and schedule of values back into PreconIntel so awarded price is the next estimate’s benchmark.
Change orders
CO frequency and dollar weight feed sub CO-risk scoring — the loop that makes subcontractor intelligence actually intelligent.
Drawings, estimates, requisitions
Sheet sets, Procore estimates, and requisitions pull in so takeoff and forecasting have one source of truth.
Built for the Procore workflow you already have.
You don’t re-key anything. You don’t run nightly exports. The integration uses Procore’s webhook model with retry logic and failure alerting — so when a sync fails, you hear about it from us, not from your PM three bids later.
Frequently asked questions
Is PreconIntel a certified Procore integration?
PreconIntel uses Procore's official OAuth 2.0 REST API and webhook model. Your Procore admin approves the connection scope and can revoke it any time from the Procore Marketplace or your company settings.
Which Procore data syncs bidirectionally?
Projects, vendors, cost codes, commitments and SOVs, change orders, drawings, estimates, requisitions, and contacts. Some objects are read-only (drawings, actuals), others sync both ways (vendors, projects, commitments) — the direction per object is configurable.
How fresh is the data?
Near real time. Procore webhooks push changes to PreconIntel within seconds of an edit. If a webhook fails, a scheduled reconciliation sync catches drift within minutes. You'll see delay indicators in the UI when a sync lags behind, so you always know what you're looking at.
What happens when a Procore sync fails?
Failures are surfaced in the admin dashboard with the specific object, the Procore error code, and the last successful sync time. Retry logic handles transient errors automatically. Persistent failures trigger an alert so you find out before your PM does.
Do I need Procore to use PreconIntel?
No. PreconIntel is fully functional standalone — bid inbox, ITB, subcontractor intelligence, and cost benchmarking all work without Procore. The integration adds the estimate-to-execution feedback loop that makes benchmarks smarter, but it's optional on every plan.
How does cost-code mapping handle CSI MasterFormat vs. custom codes?
PreconIntel maps Procore cost codes to CSI divisions and subdivisions. Standard MasterFormat codes map automatically; custom codes use a learned mapping that improves as you confirm matches. The mapping is editable per company and audited on every change.
